What is Paper Coach?
The facts, in one place.
- Paper Coach is an app for iPhone and iPad that teaches drawing step by step, on real paper, made by Softroni.
- Each lesson shows one line at a time, drawn slowly on the screen, then waits while the learner draws it with a pencil or pen and taps “I drew it”.
- There are 120 lessons on 12 paths (Plants, Fruits, Sky & Weather, Food & Treats, Forms, Wheels, On the Water, In the Air, Space, Landscape, Around Town, Fantasy Objects), grouped in three levels: Starter, Core and Advanced.
- Scenes are whole pictures drawn the same way, in short chapters.
- Lina, the coach, can say each step aloud; her voice can be turned off.
- It is for kids from about six, teens and grown-ups, especially people who say they can’t draw.
- It is free to download. The first three lessons of every path, one scene per path and the drawing of the day are free; Premium opens everything, by the week, by the year, or with one Lifetime payment, and works with Family Sharing.
- For families: several learners can share a device, each with their own progress and sketchbook; a grown-up can get an evening note about what a child drew; prices are behind a grown-ups’ check.
- No account is needed. Lessons are on the device, and photos of finished drawings stay in the app’s sketchbook.
- The app is in English.
