Easy Fruit Drawings
10 drawings from the Fruits path in Paper Coach, easiest first, each one line at a time on paper.
These ten fruit drawings are built from round and curved shapes. The watermelon slice, apple and pear come first, and the curves you learn there come back in the cherries, the banana and the strawberry. Near the end, the grapes turn into a cluster of small circles, and the fruit bowl puts four fruits together, one sitting partly in front of another.

Questions
Good to know
Which fruit should a beginner draw first?
Start with the watermelon slice, then the apple and the pear. They use a few large curves and very little detail, so you can practice smooth round lines before trying clustered shapes like the grapes.
How do you draw fruits overlapping in a bowl?
Draw the fruit in front first, whole. Then draw the fruits behind it, and stop each line where it touches the front fruit. That way the back fruits look tucked behind instead of see-through.
Is this a good set to draw with a child?
Yes. Most of these fruits start from a circle or an oval, which young children can already draw. A parent can draw the same fruit next to them, one step at a time.
Draw the whole path with Lina
In Paper Coach, Lina draws each line of every Fruits drawing on the screen, then waits while you draw it on paper. The first 3 are free.
